Q: How does a Hearst Castle pet sit work?
A: Typically, a Hearst Castle pet sit is about 3hrs. This gives us 10 mins to get acquainted before you leave, travel to/from visitor center, check in, shuttle up/down mountain, tour, and 30 min optional movie. If you skip the movie it is about a 2.5 hr pet sit.
Q: Will you walk our dog?
A: Absolutely! I can walk your dog briskly up to 4 miles. Sometimes, pups get nervous when I take them far from where their parents left them, so we come back and try again later if they let me know they're uncomfortable.
Q: Do you have breed/weight/age restrictions?
A: No, I am comfortable with all breeds/weights/ages.
Q: Can we drop our dog off at your place?
A: Unfortunately, I'm not able to accommodate drop-offs.
Q: Can you do an outdoor only pet sit? We are just traveling through for the day and are not staying in town.
A: I'm sorry, but am unable to accommodate outdoor-only pet sits, as a "home-base" place of shelter is needed for your pup's peace of mind and safety.
Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: No. There is no charge if you cancel, but please give as much advance notice as possible.

A: Cash, Venmo, Zelle, collected at end of pet sit
Q: Are you on any pet sitting apps?
A: No, I wish to remain independently operated.
